New Year's Celebration

Ok, so two weeks later, I'm just now getting around to posting about our fun New Year's Eve and Day, but hey what can I say I've got two under two (at least for another week) and they keep me hopping. New Year's Eve we had our usual service at the Church, something that they've been doing for well over 30 years now. Eld. Tommy Green preached services and then we all broke to eat and fellowship in the dinning room. A little past 11 we headed back into the Church to sing out the old year and in the new.
Earlier that afternoon Gary and I set up the tent. He and Britt camped out in it, some of the boys had planned to camp out, but changed their mind, so it was just the two of them out there. Meanwhile, me, Ruth and a few of the girls slept in the nursery in the Church. We didn't stay up talking too late, since we were all beat. It was nice to spend some time with them though.Saturday, on New Year's Day we had our annual picnic down at the Church. We enjoyed playing cards in the morning after breakfast and before lunch. After lunch the kids spent a lot of time playing outside, the women talked, and the men played corn hole toss.It was a nice relaxing day. We had a great time.
