Christmas with the Mallards

This year we gathered at Aunt Cindy's house for Christmas with my dad's side of the family. Due to the snow and the concern for icy roads, we left for Tennessee on Christmas Day. It took us longer than usual, but we made it there safe and sound. We enjoyed some supper with some of the family and hung out visiting. Britt and Emily chased each other round and round the couches. Then we headed over to Rachel and John's place to spend the night. Britt and Emily played some more (including playing at sleeping in the play pen) before heading to bed. Sunday morning due to iced over roads they cancelled Church, so we just visited with Uncle Nob, his daughter Myra, and her husband Joe for a while before getting together for our family Christmas. We all ate early, opened presents and watched a Christmas movie. At that point, Gary and I hit the road with the kiddos for our 11 hour drive back to Gainesville.
