The Harappan civilization was the largest and the most advanced of it's day, and but for some reason the cities of the Indus Valley were abruptly abandoned. Since no archaeologist or historian has ever been able to decode the writing they left behind, no one knows why. Use the following story starter to tell what you think happened to the city of Mohenjo-Daro. "It was a dark and windy night as the town of Mohenjo-Daro slept. Little did anyone know that this was their last night..."
It was a dark and windy night as the town of Mohenjo-Daro slept. Little did anyone know that this was their last night. During the night a tornado came and many died. And then there was a few houses left. So the people that didn't die went into them. Then an army came, while they were still weak. They couldn't fight off Egypt. They went to Mohenjo-Daro across the water in boats, because they couldn't come across the hot sand or the rocky mountains. They wrecked it all, and sand covered it all. One survived but the little boy ran away. With the invaders and the sand on the city he never came back. He adventured all the way to Africa. The end.
