We were able to see him smile, grimace, frown, and smirk. He sucked on his lips, played with his tongue, and was "breathing in" and swallowing his amnoitic fluid. He batted his big eyes at us and played with his umbilical cord. His cord was in front of his face along with his hands most of the time, he's mighty stubborn (imagine that). He waved and he rubbed his face/eyes and at one point appeared to be beating time in a 2 beat pattern in front of his face (to which Gary replied that he was going to have to teach that boy how to do it right, down in front of his chest). It was amazing to watch him streach and kick and everything. We could see the vernix still on his skin and found out that as of now he still has no hair.There were a few really amazing things that we were able to see. He undoubtable has Gary's nose, it turns down toward the tip just like Gary's. He undoubtable doesn't have Gary's ears (thank goodness) though his ears won't be done developing for another couple of weeks (so we'll see if they stay small and cute). His mouth looks alot like Gary's, but when he smiles it looks much more like mine than Gary's. He has great big chubby checks that were just too adorable. I got to watch him suck his thumb like I use to do, and rub his feet together, just like I always do as I'm falling asleep.It was simply amazing to get to see him, and I can't wait now to hold him and meet him face to face.
