After all the rain we've had the last few week, we were blessed yesterday with a mostly sunny day. We had a little bit of rain in the afternoon, but other than that it was a perfect day for playing in the sun. Gary's grandfather had a cook-out, much like last year. We had ribs, and other than family that showed up many friends in the community and most of the Church was there as well. The water slides were a big hit again with all the kids big and small. We discovered that Jared has a very girly scream and laughed ourselves silly when the adults wiped-out time and time again. Even Granddaddy Garland got on. We enjoyed some great bluegrass music all day under the tent as well. It was an all-round good day.
