Back from Bama

Hope you enjoy these pictures!

I am still alive just so you all know. I have many awesome things to write about. I spent last week at home in Alabama, and returned to move into a new apartment. I suppose I'll try to give you some updates and pictures, but it might be slow going.

I really enjoyed the drive home last Monday, even though the traffic was terrible and the trip took much longer than it should have due to delays and wreaks on the road. I listened to all of Third Day's cds, Mercy Me, a Bro. Buddy sermon, and some PB congregational singing. I stopped in Dothan to catch up with Katie Beth, and I got to visit with her family for a few hours.

On the way to Montgomery, I saw several fine sights. First, I drove by the house that Rosa Parks grew up in before moving to Montgomery where she became famous as the black woman who wouldn't give up her bus seat to a white man. I couldn't snap a picture, but I was amazed to see the building still standing. Then I got some pictures of the sunset as I got into town. The colors in the sky are different from down here. I don't know why, but I loved seeing the familiar sky. I also love to see the trees with no leaves reaching for the heavens. They are amazing this time of year, as they are budding and unfurling tiny leaves looking a little furry around the edges of their black silhouettes.
