Brodie is Lost...

I am terrible upset. Brodie has been lost for more than 24 hours now.

When the weather is nice he likes to lay in the sun on our balcony, and sometimes he'll even go down the stairs and lay on the concrete sidewalk in the sun. It's been cold for Florida so he hasn't been out in almost a week. Yesterday he was just begging to be let out, so after Gary left to go to town I let him out. I watched him go down the stairs and get comfy on the sidewalk. I always watch him a few minutes to make sure that everything is ok and that he doesn't get on the neighbor's bird feeders. He is never gone more than 15 to 30 minutes. When Gary got back he had been out just about 35 or 45 minutes and I was about to look for him, but I had to put away the things he picked up for me first. When we went out he was gone. I haven't seen him since 1:00 yesterday afternoon.

We have looked everywhere, I've asked all of our neighbors that I can get in touch with. I'm just terrified that something has happened to him. Brodie is very lovable but not always so smart. His internal GPS unit doesn't work quite right. One time he went down stairs and chased the neighbor's yorkie around a little while (they seem to like to play with each other), then went up a different neighbor's balcony and cried to be let in. I walked out and got his attention, but he couldn't seem to figure out that he was on the wrong balcony. I had to go and get him and bring him home.

I sure hope he comes home soon, and that he is ok. It was really hard to sleep last night. I kept getting up and going to the door to look for him and listen for his bell and tags. It was so quite without him sneaking around at night. Below are a couple of pictures of him playing with his Christmas present.
